An eye for perfection, detail and productivity. Hi, my name is Sutini Said born and breed in Singapore but currently living in Germany.
The retail industry has been my strongest starting platform since I was 17 years old. I started out working as a Retail Sales Assistance at Quiksilver BoardRiders Club Singapore where I learned the skills both in the human factor and operations of the store from the frontliners point of view. Dedicating my youth for four and half years as I have grown to love before I worked for the brand.
Moved on to a German shoe manufacturing company, Bär, where I worked almost a year as a Sales Promoter independently at Takashimaya Shopping Mall in Singapore. As the brand was newly introduce in Singapore, not only is it just about selling a pair of comfort shoes but it was also about building up trust with customers and sharing with them the believe, philosophy and vision of the company. Worked closely with the Directors of the company to achieved the prime goal. I was also sent to Stuttgart, Germany for two weeks to the main outlet cum head office to learn about all the aspect of making a pair of high quality comfort shoes.
Being active in sports and the love for any kind of sports, I then worked with a boxing brand, Lonsdale, as Head Retail Supervisor in charged of the three Lonsdale stores of over 20 staffs in Singapore for more than a year. Overlooking the daily operational of the stores, staffs, working closely with the Visual Merchandiser cum Junior Purchaser from the company.
When not applying my attention to work, you´ll be able to find me at the swimming pool where I love to swim laps and getting a tan. Reading is the other pass time of mine. From brilliant authors like Bram Stoker to Bernard Cornwell. Gaming is my weakness. Owning the Xbox and the Sony Play Station Portable already but I yearn for more.
Photography is something I am still exploring. Purchasing a Canon Digital IXUS 80 IS and the retro Diana F+ Lomo camera to feed that self exploration.
